2 Cor. 5:1-10 As a tentmaker himself, Paul compares a believer’s present life to a tent – which is easily pulled down at the end of its life. In contrast, God will give us an eternal home in his own presence when believers are raised to bodily life again.

2 Cor. 5:11-21 Paul urges the believers to let Christ change them completely – from God’s enemies into his friends. “If anyone belongs to Christ, there begins a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new!” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
2 Cor .6:1-13 He begs them not to delay this life-changing commitment. “I tell you that the “right time” is now; and the “day of salvation” is now!” (2 Corinthians 6:2) (see Isaiah 49:8).
2 Cor. 6:14-18 Paul warns the believers not to compromise their Christian lifestyle because of the ungodly influence of contemporary society. “You are not the same as those who do not believe. So do not join yourselves to them. Good and bad do not belong together. Light and darkness cannot share together. How can Christ and Belial, the devil, have any agreement?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15).
