Acts 11:27-30 During this time (in 43/44AD), Barnabas and Saul visit the Jewish believers in Jerusalem with money for famine relief sent by their fellow believers in Antioch (see 4 on Map 22).
Luke (the author of The Acts of the Apostles) notes that the famine takes place during the reign of Emperor Claudius (41-54AD), who led the Roman conquest of Britain in 43AD. He also records that King Herod Agrippa I dies while Saul and Barnabas are in Jerusalem in 44AD (see Acts 12:19-25).
